Hi Ho Its November!

We just got home from Disneyland. It was really fun and beautiful. CHristmas is up and Christmas music was playing and it snew (past tense for snow) after the fireworks. We went on Splash Mountain and stayed dry--compared to last time when we were completely soaked! I think the kids who run that ride take glee in putting the weightier people in the front of the boat. We also saw the haunted mansion Tim Burton style.

October is a blur

Hi again,
Where is Fall? I felt it about 2 weeks ago with the cooler weather and that distinct feeling of change. But where is it now? There are leaves rattling around in the wind an mor than the usual amount of color on a few trees. I miss real Autumn. The intense reds and oranges on the mountains, the fields of lavender and gold flowers, geese flying south.
Yesterday we went to the second anual "symposium on the Family" at church. It was so interesting and I learned quite a bit as well. We should have invited some people. It was that good!
Oh, something exciting! I am getting a new crown! DOesn't sound like much, but I have had a big break in my tooth for a few years now, and am just now finally getting it fixed. It feels weird not to have my tongue scrape against that big jagged tooth!
Something that I am truly excited about is a family home evening party I have planned for tomorrw night. Our friends are all coming over for pulled beef sandwiches, and salads and desserts, yummy! And fun!
